We were delighted in the school today to welcome the new President of the INTO - Brendan Horan.   Brendan took over the role last Wednesday at the INTO Congress in Killarney.  His first official engagement was to visit Bunscoil na Cathrach.  The 6th class children formed a Guard of Honour as he entered the school and he spent the day visiting classrooms to speak to the children in the school.  To mark the occasion a tree planting ceremony was organised and was attended by some of the pupils in the school.  We wish Brendan all the best in his new role.
