Class 6B took on the Engineers Week Challenge. They learned about how planes fly by looking at the four principles of aerodynamics - lift, weight, thrust and drag. They designed, made, tested and modified their paper aeroplanes. There were great designs on show and we even had some miniscule aeroplanes! They then held a competition to fly their planes - the child who designed the plane that travelled the longest distance was crowned the winner!
