Pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th class attended a workshop today with Tina Keating - an Earth Scientist and Heritage Specialist. She gave a presentation on Ireland's ancient volcanic history and its rich variety of rocks and fossils. The children then got to create and erupt their own volcanoes.
