🌟 Strive for 5 Attendance Celebration 🌟
Our "Strive for 5" Attendance Initiative was introduced to highlight the importance of being in school every day, ready to learn and on time. Congratulations to Senior Infants (Ms. Terry's Class) who won our Best Attendance Class, and to Fourth Class (Ms. Grogan's Class) who won our Most Improved Attendance Class. They enjoyed a special picnic at the Inch Field against the beautiful backdrop of Cahir Castle.
The day was made even more special as two children from Senior Infants, Esther and Lily, celebrated their birthdays with chocolate muffins and candles. After the picnic, the children enjoyed some well-deserved free play and fun with their friends.
Ten children who achieved 100% attendance throughout the 2025/2026 school year from across Bunscoil na Cathrach also enjoyed a special picnic on our new picnic benches, kindly funded through the School Completion Programme Grant. Their outstanding commitment to attending school every day was recognised and celebrated as part of our ongoing efforts to promote positive attendance.
A sincere thank you to all the teachers and staff who helped make this celebration such a memorable day for our pupils.
